Cebu’s fashion scene is bursting with talent. Some of the biggest names in Philippine fashion call Cebu home—from Monique Lhuillier to Kate Torralba and
Jun Escario. This month, Preview puts the spotlight on Philip Rodriguez, who talks about his vision for Cebu fashion. Preview’s fashion editorial is also a product of the brightest Cebuano minds: together with Preview creative director Vince Uy, the all-Cebuano crew includes photographer Charles Buenconsejo, makeup artist Romero Vergara, and model Elvira Stehr, who wears the creations of Cebu’s very own Julie Go, Mary Ty, Dianne Espera, Lord Maturan, Rey Villegas, Mique Yapching, Philipp Tampus, Ciege Cagalawan, Valerie Alvez, and Vania Romoff.

I just recently saw this short/ad for Cinemanila 2008. My friend Erik Matti directed the spot for the ad agency TBWA-SMP. Good stuff.
