Ibarra’s Historical Almanac is a short history of the Philippines, illuminated by pieces of literature specific to each episode in time. Highly subjective, it is a collection of texts that aims to challenge the way we learn post-colonial histories—through the eyes and words of those colonized. Finalist for the 2009 Salazar Student Awards for Best in Print Design.

Ginger Ngo is a Vancouver-based designer and typographer, currently exhibiting at the Emily Carr UAD. Not too sure if her ethnicity is Filipino but it probably is judging by these screenshots.
