Michael Arcega is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in sculpture and installations. His art, though visual, revolves largely around language. He utilizes comedic strategies and tactics to express darker global issues. He received his BFA in Interdisciplinary studies at the San Francisco Art Institute and is currently working towards his MFA at Stanford University. Michael resides in San Francisco, CA.
Jeryc Garcia’s photography career began when he was an award-winning advertising creative, and continued throughout the time he was founding editor of the Philippine edition of Rodale’s Men’s Health magazine. As an independent creative professional, he is also involved in projects that require creative direction and visual design.
He recently completed a documentary on the days in the life of urban Filipino women for Unilever and is now touring his portraits of surviving Filipino WWII veterans in the United States in an exhibit called VALOR.
Thanks for this Lex.
The Manila Design Week site is now live, weaved by the talented duo Inksurge. August will be a wonderful month for design.
